Liked: Service from the staff was excellent, big thank you to Mattio for looking after us , the hotel castle has a special feel about it, and very dog friendly , will return again 😊

Best place to stay in...

Liked: Ik stayed there several times on my many trips from Greece to Holland. Twice per year with my two labradores. I like a room on the ground floor to walk with the dogs up and down is not a good idea on my age.
Disliked: What I don't like is that Booking.com asks this kind of direct questions and inform guests that they still can cancel. That does not help the owners of hotels

A truly welcoming and friendly...

Liked: We chose this hotel for convenience because our ferry was arriving late in Ancona. It turned out to be a great choice and would recommend fellow travellers. It was set in beautiful countryside, so very quiet, the grounds were beautiful and the room was wonderfully cool after a very hot day. We chose to eat in their restaurant, which was in a pretty little courtyard and the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, explaining everything in English. We were lucky enough to have a little dining room to ourselves for breakfast. Very romantic for two old travellers! A great spread for breakfast, which is not always the case in Itlaly, and coffee made by a person, not a confusing machine.
Disliked: Actually nothing.
