Horrible experience, terrible rooms, and...

Liked: Location.
Disliked: We had to leave in the morning and we couldn't because we had been locked in by the night attendant and when we tried to leave, we couldn't. The bed was almost to the bottom of the floor. It was super hot on that day and there is no air conditioning in the rooms so it was unbearable because we could not open the windows and the only option we had in order to survive the night, was to open the front doors so that the heat would kind of dissipate, what a terrible experience! Besides that, there were numerous weird and strange noises in the hotel and we saw some strange shadows and stuff. We will never star at this place. I asked to speak with the owners or manager and nobody cared. We had booked our stay for 5 nights and checked out after a few hours - and they refused to give us a refund because they said "the reservation was for 5 nights". Horrible experience, terrible rooms, and worst of all, bad attitude from the management and owners. I will never stay there nor will I recommend this place to anybody that I know!

Disliked: Add on booking noted we could access room anytime before 8 pm. When we arrived they stated not til 2 pm and charged and extra $500 pesos to enter the room earlier.

Disliked: Grand old hotel in the past, I'm sure but it seems to be a bit run down. Also the bedsheets were not clean.I think the staff were pleasant but not too competent.

Liked: It was in Tlaquepaque
Disliked: Someone entered our room while we were on a tour. Clothing was left on the bed. Incident was brought to staffs attention, not even an apology was given. We were locked inside the hotel one morning because their receptionist staff ran late. We had no way out and I almost lost my tour to the Jose Cuervo express. I was very upset.
