Dirty, uncomfortable and loud

Liked: Location was great, very central and walkable
Disliked: Worst hotel experience ever. It was dirty, falling apart and NOISY. There were hairs on the pillow, a live roach in the room and the room smelled. The towels didn't smell great either. You can hear the elevator and every "ding" very clearly. There was also extremely loud morning construction on the last night. Bed was uncomfortable and they don't provide a proper comforter, more like a thick top sheet. Overall, extremely uncomfortable and frustrating experience.

Liked: We had a balcony room, plenty of room, and the balcony was nice. The hotel is on one of the main streets in old San Juan. It was easy to walk around the city. Great place to stay for our 3 nights. The staff was really good.
Disliked: Peeling paint on the wall in the bedroom. The room was tooo cold for our taste. We couldn't seem to get comfortable. Unable to adjust the temperature warmer. Staff said building is old and walls would get moist.

Liked: Decor was gorgeous. Bed was super comfortable. The staff was amazing. Nice to have happy hour and coffee available too!
Disliked: We had been really excited about using the stone tubs and jacuzzis on the roof— unfortunately when we got up there the water was cold and stayed that way. Bummer!
