Very good

Great location and great aesthetic,...

Liked: Excellent location as it's situated right in the heart of Old San Juan. The aesthetic appeal of the property is also up there with it's unique looks, and the beds were actually pretty comfortable so I got pretty good sleep despite being situated right next the the noisy elevator.
Disliked: Their elevator seemed like it was one use away from breaking, and instead of getting it fixed properly, they simply have a sign next to it requesting no more than 4 people on the elevator or it may get stuck. The rooftop was home to some stone baths which seemed cool, but when my wife and I went up there, all the boards that made the flooring were simply placed there instead of being fastened in place so I was nervous the floor was unstable, and they also had what seemed to be nice turf grass up there but the rooftop has no drainage, so after a night with some rain, the roof was like a bowl for trapping water and just one step onto the turf and my shoes were soaked. I was also slightly displeased with the staff. Not only were they not very friendly, but room checkouts are are 11am and checkins at 3 or 4 pm, leaving their room cleaning staff more than enough time to get rooms ready for the next guest. We arrived around 4:30 for checking and our room was not ready. We were told I'd receive a call when the room was ready. I went back around 6pm and had to ask again if the room was ready, they said yes and when I went into the room, someones dirty sock was on the ground in plain view, and the sink and shower were both dirty. I have doubts that the sheets were even changed and wouldn't be surprised if the bed was simply made using the sheets from the guest before me. For a hotel to charge as much as they did for a one night stay, I would expect them to have their stuff a little more put together. Good experience overall, but they definitely have a lot they can improve upon.

Liked: Excellent location in Old San Juan. Unique hotel with character. They were able to hold our luggage until check in time.
Disliked: We had to ask several times for the sheets and blankets for the sofa bed.

Liked: The lobby decor was really fun. Location was perfect and our room was comfortable, clean and quiet.

Liked: Location was excellent, right in the middle of Old San Juan, perfectly located for the cruise port that was only a 5 minute walk away, and easy walking to all of the attractions in San Juan
Disliked: Room had no windows which couldn't be helped but with the air con it felt a bit damp. Could have done with coffee facilities in the room too.
