I will remember the hospitality...

Liked: You are in the heart of Ajijic. This special hotel has dedicated owners, who run it smoothly, professionally, with their competent and friendly staff. Coffee and biscuit are brought to your room every morning before your breakfast. Next, your healthly, varied breakfast menu is included in your reservation price. My room was a wonderful size with a little balcony overlooking the street. Two screened French doors gave me fresh air day and night. Some nights I would eat dinner out with friends; other nights I chose the delicious, gourmet plates offered at Yollotzin. I have only positive and pleasant memories from my stay at this well run establishment.

Ideal location by any measure...

Liked: The staff exceeded my expectations in every aspect location superb breakfast fantastic comfortable bed
Disliked: Different room the last two nights the first night never turned the exterior lights off so the room wasilluminated all night the second night a band was playing across the street until early morning hours

Nice hotel without heat

Liked: Quiet, beautiful family run hotel that made you feel right at home . Breakfast was great and French press coffee delivered to room a wonderful touch, but a bit late for me (8:15 or later) They gave 200 pesos a day for breakfast and you order from the menu. Lots of single travelers, I felt very comfortable and safe.
Disliked: Cold!!! No heaters, my room was about 58 as Ajijic was 50 overnight, 70 or lower during day (lancha room) and my room in the shade. Having to sit around wrapped in blankets or jackets ruined any enjoyment of the room. My friend booked directly with hotel after me, paid 40% less & got a room with fireplace (ocasa room) so could warm a little. When I checked in I paid for an upgrade, mistake, which cancelled my booking.com reservation so I didn’t get any loyalty perks but hotel saved 25%.
