Great stay

Liked: Great location, right in the centre. My room had a balcony overlooking the cathedral. East access to all sites. Room was comfortable and staff really helpful

Liked: It was right in the historic center. Easy access to everything.
Disliked: The hotel is nice, but needs attention, Vanities did not flush properly, shower gets clogged with just the shower water, shower head in our room leaked water from the top, floors, where always dirty with lots of hair everywhere.

Poorly managed, strong odor in...

Disliked: We really wanted to like this unique boutique-style hotel, but unfortunately the sickeningly strong odor of the air freshener and the lack of warm water were deal breakers for us.The first thing we noticed upon entering the room was the air freshener, which smelled like the ones that are commonly placed in toilet bowls. After a brief search, we indeed found a toilet bowl freshener attached to our trash bin. We promptly got rid of it, but the odor lingered.We asked to be transferred to another room — alas this second room didn’t have a working AC unit, no window, and no warm water. The air freshener was also present in this second room, but to a lesser extent. Nevertheless, it was strong enough to bother us throughout the night. Last but not least, the lights didn’t appear to be working properly in the room, which made it difficult to get dressed.

Do not stay here.

Liked: Amazing breakfast and staff servicing the restaurant (waiters and manager).
Disliked: Bathroom stinks like really bad smell coming out of the toilette and sink. Shower dirty and the hot water gets boiling without notice I burned myself many times. Towels are tearing apart and dirty. Bed linings are dirty and not as expected. This hotel is sold as a boutique hotel but its services and comfort do not match the boutique category. Its overrated and overpriced.

Wonderful, Cute, Perfect Location

Liked: The view was spectacular. The hotel room was cute and clean. The parking was around the block but nice to have. The restaurant on the top floor was great.
Disliked: The air conditioner made a clicking noise all night.

Exceptional

Charming and unique property at...

Liked: Location, location, location. This property is right in the middle of many things. Lots to see and taste. My room was charming. I had a view of the cathedral. I was startled when at 10 am the bells started to LOUDLY ring on Sunday. Real men were ringing each bell. It was an amazing experience because it was so loud and special. All the people milling around just paused to savor the experience. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help. I would stay here again.
Disliked: The rooftop restaurant is really expensive, so use google maps and find hundreds of choices at all price points within a few blocks. (This is not the hotel’s fault and if you dine there you will get a 10% discount”.

Excellent location

Liked: Rooms are decent. Location is excellent; in front of the cathedral.
Disliked: Bad WiFi connection.
