Can’t wait to come back!

Liked: Love Casa Nuevo León!Our second visit, staying in the suite. The room was lovely and so spacious. Yes, you there are street noises and you can hear the bar, but for this price you just have to live with it. So affordable!! Location is great, staff is so friendly and helpful.
Disliked: If you’re a light sleeper and need your surroundings to be super quiet. This is not the hotel for you.

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic...

Liked: We stayed in the ‘King Suite’ (Room 21) for 5 nights and it was great. It’s a large room with huge windows and an extremely comfortable and spacious bathroom (2 showers, 2 sinks, huge bath etc). For the price - it was a very good deal, especially when you consider the excellent location. The bed is absolutely huge and they provide a heater and a fan. The staff are super kind and helpful. It’s a really comfortable room from which to holiday in the heart of the city…..A lot of the reviews of this hotel complain about the noise. From room 21 you don’t hear any noise from the bar below BUT you do get quite a lot of noise from the road (this seems to be the norm in CDMX). Despite this we slept fine. As an aside, we spent one additional night in room 23 and the noise from the bar was very loud….
Disliked: It’s a small thing - BUT - our only single complaint was the coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel provides a bean grinder and french press to make coffee (which is obviously a loud, annoying and broadly undesirable way in which to make coffee in a hotel room). If you’re staying for a longer period, it’s a little annoying. I think essentially they just want you to buy coffee from the cafe downstairs…. I don’t know why but it really annoyed us

Exceptional

Liked: This is a stunning art deco building beautifully restored with all the comforts of a boutique hotel. Located in Condesa, an area with cool restaurants, bars and parks. I would stay again, it was perfect.

Absolutely great option!!

Liked: Wonderful large room, great location, super nice and helpful staff and cute café right next door.
Disliked: The only remark is the slow draining system of the bathtub. Otherwise all was great!

Art deco hotel in the...

Liked: The location was great and the staff as well.
Disliked: The hotel is getting old and needs a refresh, the shower was malfunctioning.

Lovely, comfortable, clean stay in...

Liked: Excellent location in Condesa, the beds are comfortable and rooms are nicely appointed, with some lovely touches like fresh coffee beans, grinder and plunger available. Maria was at the front desk almost the whole time we were there and she was delightful - helpful and friendly. There is also a nice rooftop balcony which we didn't really get a chance to use but which would be a great spot to hang out. The cafe downstairs is good too.
Disliked: When we arrived they told us that our room was on first floor but warned that it was quite noisy because of the bar downstairs so they offered to move us up to the third floor after the first night. It was a bit annoying to have to move but it was kind of them to offer the option as it was indeed very noisy that first night. (In the end, it was still kind of noisy on the third floor too. Didn't bother us too much but if you are sensitive to noise it might be an issue. Noise comes from the street but also up the stairwell).

Will keep coming back!

Liked: Beautiful place, central, lovely staff, beautiful decor!
Disliked: Honestly the only thing is the noise from the street below in some of the rooms, for that reason I thought these rooms should be discounted in some way.
