My wife and I liked the fact that it's within walking distance of a lot of historic sites, museums, shops, etc. We'll stay there again when we go to future concerts at the St. Augustine Ampitheatre, which is a fairly short drive from the hotel.

Liked: Felt safe for the most part. Good to have to use your room key to rise above the ground floor, for example.
Disliked: Our view of the dining room roof wasn't exactly romantic, but I'm sure if I'd paid more, we'd have enjoyed a better view.

Liked: We had a wedding at the Lightner Museum right next door. The hotel was beautiful and quite convenient to everything. The staff was very helpful and kind.
Disliked: There was nothing about the property that I did not like, however due to the Christmas lights and all the crowds, I do understand an increasing cost however, this was more than double the cost of normal room. This was price gouging at its finest. I felt taken advantage of and the fact that we had to pay almost $1000 for one night, I feel was price gouging for sure! If it wasn’t due to my husband‘s health issues we would’ve been able to stay somewhere a little bit further away, but I had no choice but to pay this amount which was very wrong. I feel very taken advantage of and I’m sure I’ll never stay there again even when there is a normal cost. I think it’s very wrong that they take advantage of people the way that they did and it should be unlawful.

Disliked: I ordered a bottle of Moscato and chocolate covered strawberries to be in the room for the birthday girl. Unfortunately,, there was neither. I called the front desk and they brought up something. But the surprise was ruined.
