My wife and I liked the fact that it's within walking distance of a lot of historic sites, museums, shops, etc. We'll stay there again when we go to future concerts at the St. Augustine Ampitheatre, which is a fairly short drive from the hotel.

Liked: Felt safe for the most part. Good to have to use your room key to rise above the ground floor, for example.
Disliked: Our view of the dining room roof wasn't exactly romantic, but I'm sure if I'd paid more, we'd have enjoyed a better view.

It’s a nice hotel.

Liked: The art work was really cool. We took the stairs a lot, they were very nicely carpeted, along with art work; unexpected. The location was perfect.
Disliked: The lighting in the bathroom was awful!! Also, a fan would have been nice. Why not replace the overhead lights with a fan, and install flattering lighting on the sides of the mirror?Also, the four square cabana-type things with the curtains at the pool should be replaced with lounge chairs; I didn’t see anyone using them, and it would look much neater without them (kind of an eyesore).

Overall it was satisfactory but...

Liked: Close to my daughter’s college. Clean and run efficiently. Valet’s service was great.
Disliked: A bit too expensive for what you get. Our TV kept changing channels by itself. We complained but never got the issue resolved. The view from our room was a rooftop with green turf.

Disliked: After all the unpacking we discovered that the internet didn’t work. Tech was called and came to the room. He said we just needed to walk the devices from hallway to the room. I don’t think so for the amount of money we paid for this room. Anyway the devices wouldn’t hold the internet more than 2 mins so we had to move. That was a disaster. I lost all my Christmas Belgium chocolates during that. Also the on premises restaurants were so over crowded. Was told a 30 mins wait for dinner which was over 2 hrs. At least have room service open for the holidays. Not interested in going back.
