Good
Liked: The location is great and Condesa is a very pretty neighborhood with lots of cafes, restaurants and bars. Breakfast was really good.
Disliked: You can hear literally everything in the room, the soundproof is really bad. No elevator And I guess it could be nice if the staff could speak English. They were really nice and sweet, trying to help using google translator. But it seems like English is an international language for communication. And in hotel/ tourist business in my opinion it should be a MUST. At least basic words or phrases. For example, my native language is Russian, and I know English/French. Sorry I don’t know Spanish. I would like to learn it too, but again my point is - in hotel business people should know basic words in English. I don’t think the price of the hotel was justice for whatever was going on there.

Enjoyed our stay—great service, location,...
Liked: Wonderful staff. Great location. Beautiful warm modern style with high end finishes. The terrace on the roof is beautiful. A few seating areas, a bar, bathroom. I would go down to the breakfast room around 7 am, ask for coffee and the take it up to my room or the roof top. Or they would bring it up if it was for 2. Beautiful street. Quiet Note—no elevator. Stair steps can be a bit dark. There is about a 2-3” step down when you enter the room. I trained myself. Also the bathroom area is a step up. I travel with a small nightlight which I put on the bathroom area to illuminate the area for night time.

Mexican wedding in Mexico City
Liked: Casa Luciana is quite small and cozy, with only a few rooms, situated in a very green and beautiful neighbourhood. Rooms are quite small, but they are comfy. All showers come with a ceiling shower, which I hated but we then realised that everywhere in Mexico is the same, no idea why. We loved the breakfast - really tasty, some days better than in others but it's not the same person cooking everyday. The staff is kind and always tries to accommodate your needs, but they are missing a few things - like adaptors, for example, if you come from Europe like us. Or an evening snack, if you need to eat something fast before an event (which was our case, before a wedding). The rooftop terrace is like a cocoon, filled with plants and with a small fountain that soothes your ears. We loved getting our coffee up there every morning, before heading to breakfast. We spent 4 days in Mexico city and we think we picked a very nice hotel. However, if you're looking for room service or any other kind of service, I don't think this small boutique hotel it's a fit for you.

Passable
Liked: The staff who were working were very nice and tried their best but they were understaffed
Disliked: There was not enough staff at the hotel. They promised things such as room service that they didn't deliver. To charge a premium amount and not deliver what was expected was disappointing
