Be aware of 3 flights...

Liked: Close to museums and city centre. We were warmly greeted on arrival. Most staff were able to communicate in English. Room was small but comfortable.
Disliked: Nothing warned us that the hotel is on the 3rd floor and there's no elevator. Signage needs to be improved, it wasn't easy finding the entrance. Being central city it was quite noisy and single glazed windows didn't reduce the volume.

Love the place and will...

Liked: The reception staff.
Disliked: When walking for all day and getting to your room on the 4th. floor !

Ok for the price but...

Liked: Room was fine, comfortable bed and big bathroom. People were really kind and helpful.
Disliked: The location was far from the nice areas (roma norte, condesa) so we needed go take a taxi every day. Also, the location is known to not be safe. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Breakfast was ok but very limited, every day was the same. Eggs, plain toast and yoghurt. There was a lot of construction work going on so noise every day. Plus we didn’t have consistent warm water.

Disliked: I haven't stayed at your place because the room was on the third floor and no lift. I am not able doing that. Ivan said it was no problem to cancel because of that reason, only the amount of 4 nights still went of my creditcard. I am still waiting for my money to return, thanks, Terry Peterson

A good place in the...

Liked: Breakfast was good! Coffee, orange juice, fruit and pancakes
Disliked: Everything was fine

Exceptional

A good budget option but...

Liked: Clean and spacious room, nice courtyard and nice, friendly staff.
Disliked: The room was absolutely freezing and all of our clothes and the bedding was damp - so we ended up getting sick during our stay. The cold concrete floor makes this room really unpleasantly cold. What made it worst was the hot water was very sporadic and often didn’t work - so freezing cold showers plus freezing cold rooms

Comfortable, clean and romantic hotel...

Liked: The location was great and very walkable, which we appreciated! It’s close to many restaurants, the square, museums and shopping. We were there over New Year’s and the town square was buzzing with vendors selling street food, jewelry, pottery, clothing & textiles and trinkets. So fun! The hotel was a wonderful place to meet people from all over. We had breakfast with different groups of people and had fantastic conversations. The food was simple but delicious. I loved the rooftop atmosphere and all the beautiful plants. Our room was clean and comfortable with a decent bed. The only issue we had was getting hot water on demand. Once pointed out, it wasn’t a problem!
Disliked: The lack of hot water on demand.
