Liked: Breakfast was basic but ok

Disappointing

Liked: The location is great, right downtown and close to sights.
Disliked: On our first morning the hotel didn’t have running water until well into the afternoon, delaying our sightseeing plans. The second morning before our flight there was no hot water.

Superb

Liked: Loved this place we felt very comfortable and safe. The breakfast was lovely and so were the staff!
Disliked: Our room was a little bit noisy at night

Great value and beautiful boutique...

Liked: Casa Lomah is a beautiful little boutique hotel in the center of Mexico City. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of during our stay. The breakfast that was included every morning was delicious. We had a few issues with our room so the hotel accommodated us by moving us to a different room which was very appreciated.
Disliked: The first room we stayed in faced the street which was really loud every night, the area is very populated and there is a ton of street noise, not just on weekends. There was no fan provided in our first room so it was a little bit stuffy. This hotel is located on the top floor of a 4 story building with no elevator so just keep in mind if you have trouble with stairs.

The goes above and beyond

Liked: The hotel is great and we have received a warm welcome when we arrived. It was exactly what was expected after making the online reservation, but we have commented many times what was definitely standing out was the customer service. All the staff is very genuinely nice, compared to other hotels. However right before our stay was ending we had an issue with the laundry where we have left our clothes to wash. Unfortunately the laundry was unexpectedly closed and we couldn’t pick up the clothes on time before we left. So we asked Ivan what could be done, and he promptly suggested some options to solve the situation. We have left the hotel and few days later we have receive our parcel at our new location, delivered by DHL with our clothes. Those clothes had a sentimental value for us, so we cannot thank Ivan and Melissa enough for the amazing help. They definitely went above and beyond! Thank you once again!

Comfortable, homely, safe

Liked: I loved the warm welcoming vibe, the decor, the hospitality of the staff, the whole ethos of the place.
Disliked: The location was both amazing, yet slightly niggly, in that it requires a decent walk to get to the road to meet uber/taxi, and the stairs obviously for arriving and leaving with luggage. But so many positives of the place make up for this.

Disliked: It is located on a 3rd Floor without a lift, it makes it very difficult when carrying heavy luggage.
