Liked: The apartment was comfortable and clean and there were nice walks to take close to the apartment. The panoramic views from the nearby castle and restaurant are spectacular.
Disliked: The top floor apartment is under the eaves and so not much light or view

Beautiful place but you need...

Liked: Beautifully renovated old house. Our room had a large balcony looking over the town and the countryside. Close to walks to top of the hill with magnificent mountain views. We visited one of the two restaurants at the top of the hill. Friendly staff who arranged a very good local taxi to Udine.
Disliked: Location at top of the hill meant a steep walk down and up to access caffès and restaurants as near restaurants closed on Monday and Tuesday. Without a car not possible to visit other places in Fagagna, so we only stayed 2 of the 5 nights we had booked.

Amazing get away!

Liked: The rooms were super comfortable and stylish - the staff very friendly and organized. The location is quite rural but beautiful. San Daniele & Udine just a few car minutes away and there are good restaurants in walk distance.
Disliked: -

Fabulous spot for a night...

Liked: What a special place! Beautifully renovated, with a tasteful eye for elegant design mixed with the history of the building. We had a great room with a very comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. Everyone is freshly renovated and spotless. Nice breakfast with fresh fruit, cookies and cakes, prosciutto, and eggs on request. The tiny town of Fagagna is beautiful. We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant run by the same people, San Michele. Perfect for a special night!

Disappointing

Liked: The apartment itself was tastefully furnished and of good quality and the location for visits to the surrounding area is very good.
Disliked: There was however a serious problem as regards daylight!The existing windows in the apartment were very small and mostly at floor level. So there was no view at all from the rooms, unless you lay on the floor. So that, even at midday, the whole apartment was in darkness. The situation was even worse when it was raining. It was so depressing that we left and returned home after 3 nights instead of 7. The photos on the website apparently only showed the single rooms, which seemed to have windows as the rooms were quite light.However it must be said that the management gave us a rebate of 2 nights out of the 7. This however did not make up for spoiling our holiday.

Liked: Super nice and small hotel in little Fagagna just round the corner of an absolute stunning restaurant. Staff super friendly and nice little breakfast.
