Modern Luxury in the 500...

Liked: What's not to love about staying in an absolutely beautiful luxury boutique hotel built in the gentrified former estate of Spanish Conquistador Hernan Cortez that is nearly 500 years old. The staff was friendly and attentive, the bed was comfortable and the space is breathtaking...and the restaurants were top notch.
Disliked: I do not have a single conplaint

Overall our stay was okay.

Liked: The service at the hotel was excellent! The staff in the restaurant was extremely friendly and attentive, making the stay very pleasant. The building itself is beautiful and very clean.
Disliked: Unfortunately, my room was disappointing – it was very small and lacked a window, which was not what I had seen when booking. Additionally, there was a strong, unpleasant smell in the room.

Lovely first stay in Mexico...

Liked: Character of the building. Felt you were in a grand old Mexican house. Location was ideal for Zocalo and historic area and close to metro Clean and comfortable. Lovely breakfast. Staff couldn’t do enough for you

Beautiful hotel with great staff,...

Liked: The interior design was beautiful! A free cocktail at the bar when we arrived was a real surprise and much needed after traveling all day. The bar/restaurant was gorgeous! Didn’t eat there since we had reservations elsewhere. The staff are very helpful. We also included breakfast with our stay and it was excellent! Our bed was very comfortable, the room well appointed, and clean. The hotel is walking distance to many important spots
Disliked: The square that the hotel is located is a bit rough.

Great location beautiful hotel

Liked: Loved this location, we had thought about being closer to the Zocalo but on visiting there, we are really glad we booked this location. Earlier we'd stayed in the colonia La Condesa area and it was fantastic but we wanted to experience something different on our return. This is a great hotel in a beautiful building, breakfast was included and yummy. Huge room, with a seperate sitting area by the balcony.
Disliked: Noisy but we were in mexico and had gotten used to it. There was a wedding there our first night right outside our door, so ear plugs were used that night. but thats life.

Beautiful hotel in super central...

Liked: Beautiful building & super centrally located for exploring the Centro area in CDMX. Room had everything needed, enormous bed, premium shower products, pod coffee machine, fridge etc. Staff were friendly and accommodating and the welcome drink in the rooftop restaurant was a lovely touch. Breakfast delicious & staff very attentive. Would recommend if wanting to be in the centre of the city!
Disliked: There seemed to be a canabis smoking area (maybe protest or demo) in the square infront of the hotel so slightly off putting. I know this would be outside of the control of the hotel, it itself and all the facilities were great.
