Liked: The location was nice, and the gardens and courtyard looked pretty. It had a historic charm, which could have been great with better management.
Disliked: The check-in was awful, no staff present to assist upon arrival, and I had to wander around in the cold trying to figure things out with barely any light so it was a very uncomfortable and stressful check-in. The bed was super uncomfortable, and the whole setup felt unsafe. The locks weren’t secure, anyone could have walked in, and the policy saying guests are responsible for stolen items made it even worse. It felt like they didn’t care about the guests at all.

Liked: The property was quant and charming in a quiet neighborhood. There’s a school nearby that filled part of the day with children’s laughter. The room was perfectly decorated with antique indigenous art, very clean, comfortable, and nice shower. The brunch was off the charts amazing!

Liked: We LOVED this room! Most comfortable bed!! Beautiful antiques! An exceptionally beautiful bread & breakfast!
Disliked: We were unaware that we needed to make reservations for breakfast until 8 pm, after hours. We regret missing out!Also wish there was a little more lighting in the parking lot.

Disliked: I did not see that kids under 18 were not allowed. It wasn't an issue this time but I would have liked to know that before booking.

Property lovely but disappointed in...

Liked: It was very comfortable property. This suite I stayed in was lovely. It had a coffee machine, hot water kettle, cups, glasses and a refrigerator.
Disliked: I was disappointed in the breakfast, especially for the price and the fact that it is advertised as a culinary destination. I did learn through conversation, that the Chef who was advertised, a Cordon Blue multi certified Chef, was not at the property but in Italy visiting family. I’m happy for her but, sad that I was not able to experience her level of cooking. It was clear to me that some of the breakfast items had been reheated and not freshly made. So, if you book a stay here, and I would recommend, lovely atmosphere, make sure that the Madame Chef will be on site during your stay. Or, just stay and skip the breakfast.
