It was our first stay...
Liked: The location was excellent Close to the campus and walking destinations The owner was very welcoming and loved telling us about her family and unique transformation of the home and carriage house !
Disliked: There was nothing that we did not like In fact the delicious breakfast in the main home was superb !

Close to college, good breakfast,...
Liked: My wife liked the breakfast. The bed was reasonably comfy.Things were pretty clean.Walking distance to college.
Disliked: Very steep and narrow stairs to get to the room. Difficult to convey luggage. Breakfast was in another building. Had to walk across driveway. No coffee machine in the room. No thermostat to control cooling in the room. Tiny, hard to negotiate parking lot.

It's fantastic.
Liked: The location is completely perfect for the Shakespeare festival; the theater is only few minutes' walk away. We drove a long way to Winona and weren't sure when we'd arrive, so the contact-free check-in was really convenient. The breakfast was RIDICULOUSLY GOOD.
Disliked: In the loft room there is a window way up in the top of the loft. I think we woke up earlier than we would have liked because of the sunlight coming in through the blinds on that window. But it's very difficult to do anything about it because the window is so high up there.
