Love this place!

Liked: This has become our favorite spot to stay when we visit Santa Cruz. The location can not be beat, the hotel itself is clean, the staff is so helpful and kind, and the morning breakfast now offers waffles, in addition to bagels, cereal, fruit, and other treats. Being able to enjoy a cup of fresh (and good!) coffee while enjoying the Boardwalk and water views from our room balcony, priceless. We were able to enjoy the last of the Christmas holiday, and the lights on the Boardwalk at night were lovely.Now, this is not a fancy 5 star hotel. You will hear your neighbors and sounds of the street. But it is not loud or obnoxious. The beds, towels, and bathrooms are super clean. The rooms are very comfortable. My family and I really enjoy this spot. Whenever we plan to visit Santa Cruz, this will always be our preferred hotel.
Disliked: The pillows are pretty sad, to be honest. They were flat and uncomfortable, and that is really my only complaint. Some new pillows would make the stay a 10/10.

Disliked: There was a cockroach in our room. I understand that it's difficult to keep the critters out when the door is shorter than the door jamb. It was just disconcerting.
