Constructed to meet the City's stringent building standards we elected not to be used as a Government Covid-19 quarantine facility. Your well-being and safety is a very important consideration for the Carnmore team. The hotel offers 88 well-appointed stylish rooms with the modern comforts and amenities you would expect from a four-star city center hotel. Our accommodations is contemporary full of color with oodles of natural light. They are 22 square yards in size colorful and have views over Christchurch and its environs. Our guest accommodations offers the option of either a king bedded room or a twin bedded room.

Poor food at Carnmore

Liked: clean, tidy, pleasant staff
Disliked: Breakfast cold. no water available, only white toast - I'm diabetic. no coffee spoons, coffee cold. Limited food/choice for breakfast compared with other hotels. some food bowls empty. Breakfast relatively expensive. Could hardly see the salmon served for dinner. Meals altogether substandard.

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and perfect for what we wanted
Disliked: The restaurant/bar closed at 9 as did room service

Liked: Staff were friendly and efficient Beds really comfy Easy walking distance to CBD
Disliked: Disappointed with buffet breakfast . Hot food was only just warm enough. Would have liked a bigger selection of fresh fruit - berries would have made a good addition.

Disliked: Sound proofing isn't great. I could hear other guests in the hall and in their rooms.
