Liked: Modern and intimate.
Disliked: Nil

Disappointing especially the restaurant.

Liked: The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was quite central and convenient.
Disliked: Room was so tiny and tight. Bathroom was even tighter. Restaurant was terribly small and not what I was expecting at all. Far too small and inadequate for the number of guests. People had to stand waiting for a table. Had coffee spilt over me as so cramped. Was very disappointed with the breakfast and Restaurant. I would not recommend this hotel if you like a good breakfast. Not good value for our money.

Simple/clean/nice staff

Liked: Extremely nice staff through our stay. Room and bathroom are well setup. Simple but clean and all working well. Convenient location for Central Park and time square.
Disliked: Expensive but this is New York City. Noisy area at night but not the hotel’s fault

A real find. I look...

Liked: Terrific location. The Carnegie is a small hotel and it feels like it -- not part of a giant chain. Room was very comfortable, generously sized for NYC, perfectly clean. Outstanding staff: friendly, knowledgeable, easy to work with. WiFi excellent, room quiet -- what's not to like? The LEDs that sparkle on room electronics were at eye level, so that I could cover them up for a darkened room and a good sleep. All of the policies feel generous, not scrimpy.
Disliked: The Carnegie is almost perfect. I would prefer to have the full price listed, because taxes and "facility fees" push the listed rate up considerably. Welcome to New York!

Great!

Liked: Room was small but clean and comfortable. Location was great. The wine and cheese hour in the afternoon was fun. The staff was great!
Disliked: Bathroom was 2 feet away from bed, but to be fair this was shown in photos.

great value for money

Liked: Excellent location. Very close to Central Park and Times Square and yet it is far enough that you dont feel the crowd and chaos of tourists :)
Disliked: nothing comes to mind :)
