Good central location, onsite parking...

Liked: The room was clean and quiet, and the beds were comfortable. We chose this hotel because there were two separate beds. Its central location was very convenient for the town's restaurants shops and cafes and parking more or less next to our roomWe thought it was value for money, given the town of Carmel.
Disliked: The fan in the room could not be turned off and as the weather was on the turn, we did not need it on. Reception staff could not either so it needs fixing. The decor is a bit tired now and will need updating in due course.

I was very disappointed with...

Liked: Beds were hard and incredibly uncomfortable. Had a window that within inches was a wall. The floors were filthy. The place felt unclean. Bedding was not great. Construction was going on and the workers were loud we had to leave for awhile. Not worth the money.
Disliked: I liked the location and staff was very helpful and friendly.

Disliked: So dated, really grubby windows, extremely expensive for what they’re offering.

Was fine for one night.

Liked: Didn’t eat breakfast.
Disliked: Bed pretty hard, pillows too big and coffee was awful

This is a great location...

Liked: location was quite good and easy to access.
Disliked: The rooms are smaller than expected, and the facility is a bit dated and old, second floor stair access reveals tattered stained outdoor carpet, wishing there was additional space to gather like a balcony seat, or patio or reception lounge. space is limited in the parking lot with all spaces for compact vehicles only, and very tight clearances. Ice machine was not functioning, and the ceiling fan developed a whine in the middle of the night. Refrigerator was also a low but noisy drone.
