Disliked: The mattress was very hard and unyielding. I did not sleep well.

Liked: Breakfast was good and sufficient. The place was very quiet and peaceful. The atmosphere very relaxed, homey and comfortable. Interesting conversations with the host and other guests at breakfast time.
Disliked: Basically clean and fresh but a little bit run down. A few more hooks to hang clothes and wet towels would have been welcome. The bathroom extremely small but we got used to it after the first shower.

I will not be staying...

Liked: Ciaran the owner is very affable person, chatty and welcoming. He offered that I could keep the car at the b'n'b for the day if needed on the day I left which was kind.The room was clean.Plenty of towels.
Disliked: I was room 7. Take ear plugs and an extra mattress!It was under the stairs so very noisy from that alongside people above and the main road outside.The bed was so hard and uncomfortable I barely slept. (perhaps one of the most uncomfortable beds I have slept in ever)The breakfast is 'continental' which is fine but I get annoyed that as a vegetarian, we still in 2024 are catered for by omitting foods ( salami and ham in this case) rather than providing alternatives...so we still miss out!!!The room smelt a bit fusty too.
