Liked: Charming hotel with spacious rooms in a great location in Oak Park. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Plus parking and two restaurants on site. We'll be back!

Liked: The location is convenient for visiting our kids.
Disliked: The fourth floor smelled like a literal frat house there was so much cannabis (and I am highly tolerant of cannabis!) and the third floor smelled like urine. Our two nights on the second floor we were woken up every hour or so by THE louder boiler noise I have ever experienced. Sounded like jack hammers in the room. The staff is always nice and the lobby is always beautiful. Even for a historic hotel, it needs a rehab in a BAD way. Has gone down hill in the last few years, and it makes me sad. Could be awesome.

Great location and charming character.

Liked: Location! Walk to shops and dining in a very safe environment. I love older hotels with character and this one had it without feeling old.
Disliked: Entryway has steps instead of a ramp for luggage.

Disliked: Tiny spaces, the elevator, the room, and the bathroom. The bathtub was deep and old-timey large. That, I loved!!!
