Liked: great location close to beach and with many restaurants and bars around
Disliked: - a deposit of 100 USD asked upon arrival : only by credit card, no returned at check out- impossible to open the window in room- room window facing a wall- very loud AC- uncomfortable bed- bathroom deserves a renovation

Disliked: I am traveller and also professional- travel agency owner, but it’s the first time in many years I have experienced that kind of situation. When I entered my room I realized that there is very strong smell inside, something chemical and a lot, really a lot of awful air freshener to cover it. The scent was extremely strong, my head started to hurt right away. I called the reception and a guy named Marcel (I am not sure, but his name was something like that) came to my room to check. He immediately agreed that the smell was awful and strong but told me that he had no idea what was the source of it. I told him that we need to change the room as I can not sleep like that. Unfortunately he told me that the hotel was full. I asked him to leave a note for the morning shift about the fact that he was in the room and witnessed the smell because I obviously want full refund for that if not the compensation in addition, he promised to do so. In the morning they told me that he left a message stating that everything was ok with the room. Now, this lie crosses all the lines, my intention was just get an apology and refund from them quietly not making any fuss, but now I am really very angry. I haven’t slept a minute, I had 12 hour flight that today, my head was exploding and I felt really very bad and intoxicated by this chemicals. The hotel refused to apologize and refund, they lied that there was no smell. I can survive without 250 USD I payed for being intoxicated, but I want everyone to be aware how do they treat their guests.

Liked: This is a great hotel, located in Ocean Drive, the very best location in Miami Beach. The hotel is great, modern, comfortable, the staff is very pleasant and friendly. In particular: the Mexican manager and Luis, the Brazilian receptionist. Free wifi works fine. We will be happy to return next year.
Disliked: There are no intertnational TV channels in the room, not even CNN, only local stuff....
