Disappointing

Liked: Location is great, walking distance from the train station and all amenities.Night porter,
Disliked: Got little sleep due to the noise , other guest spoke loudly in the corridor and banging on doors to wake their friend and again in morning The bedroom wall paper outdated.Electric heater under the bay window, so I had to secure the heavy curtains to the side, to allow heat into the cold room, The Toilet holder was too far stretch from the toilet (see pictures)The next morning I asked reception if breakfast was included in my rate roo.m, I was informed No, and not offered if I wanted to pay and have breakfast,

Exceptional

Liked: The location is brilliant, right in the centre of the city, just a ten minute walk to the train station. Comfy bed, big bathroom, shower was great. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Plenty of tea and coffee supplied.
Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Very close to all the pubs and resturants all within walking distance owners very helpful and friendly.
Disliked: I DO BELIEVE BOOKINGS COM should let customers know when booking even though we were on the first floor we had about 20 odd steep steps to carry suitcase up and down and we are in our 60s I actually hurt myself the rooms are very old .but the major problem was the stairs

Liked: The hotel’s location was excellent, offering plenty of space and exceptionally friendly, accommodating staff. The 24-hour front desk ensured help was always available whenever needed.

Superb

what a gem

Liked: All staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The room was a good size, comfortable and great temperature. The bath and shower were hot and efficient. There was a good supply of tea and the position was amazing with a lovely cafe for brunch in an arcade along the road. it is a great place to stay for events at the arena, a short walk away and surprisingly quiet.
Disliked: for us nothing but the stairs would be a problem for some people.
