Disappointing

Liked: Location was good. Decor was nice. Nice to have a coffee shop on premises.
Disliked: Elevators were broken when we arrived. We did not get any advance notice that would have allowed us to get a different hotel. We ended up on the 4th floor. Very inconvenient for my 78-year-old mother to climb stairs every day. Elevators remained out of service our whole trip and there was no communication on when they would be repaired.

Liked: The staff was very nice.
Disliked: It wasn't very clean. The elevator was out due to flooding, but I didn't get a discounted price. The restaurant was out of most of the food that night.

Great location and courteous staff

Liked: Location is great! Very easy walk to Beale Street and nightlife. Felt safe. Staff were so very friendly and helpful during my stay.
Disliked: It is no fault of the hotel, but there had been what was described as a flood in the hotel closing the first 3 floors. I assume this is due to leaking pipes or broken sprinkler system. The elevator was broken and we were on the 5th floor. We were offered a refund but couldn't find another room that met our needs within walking distance. The only complaint about the room was that the bed was not as comfortable as I would have expected in a Hilton.
