Exceptional
Liked: It was so close to everything. Able to park and walk to almost anyplace we wanted to go. Beautiful view and the fireplace heated the room very well!

Liked: Walking distance to Cannery Row. Decent sized rooms.
Disliked: Old building and very dated rooms. Chipped furniture. Worn, thin linen.

Disliked: I don’t think they cleaned properly. There was an old smell in there I can’t really describe.

Not to bad
Liked: Convenient to all Monterey attractions. Nice area, staff was nice, coffee was good. Little view to ocean. Next to the walking trail.
Disliked: The elevator was loud, sounding like it was going fall, and the room was next to the elevator shook room when it was in use. Room temp was hard to keep comfortable. Bed was lumpy, and sheets felt awful strange linins for a hotel. Front of toilet was dirty took my own Lysol wipes good thing. Traffic loud all night, felt like we were on the street.

Comfy, great location, nice staffs,...
Liked: Location is central to all attractions that we wanted. Availability of free parkings in the hotel.
Disliked: The shower and tab water have some smell but after flashes out a few minutes, it’s okay. This might be the city water issue, not the property.
