Lack of care and maintenance...

Liked: Friendly staff, good location, size of the King suite was very good for the price.
Disliked: Lot's of things not up to par: the hotel had run out of water botttles to purchase, so I had to drive to get my own; one of the bedside lamps did not work; the heating system control did not work properly; the lever on the reclining chair did not work properly, etc.

When in Richmond, VA, this...

Liked: From check in to check out, hospitality service was above and beyond my expectations. I was greeted by friendly and SMILING staff, both front office and service staff. The room was MUCH BIGGER than my expectations and the beds are very comfortable. The location is very secure and easy to find. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in the Richmond, VA area. Can't speak for other locations, but both thumbs up for this one. I will DEFINITELY return to this location when I return to the area.
Disliked: One hiccup. Upon check out, 2 female office staff members were in the office by front desk sitting in chairs I assume having a meeting and looked at my husband and me as we were standing at the front desk for check out. We stood there a good 5 or more minutes before we said, " Hellooooo" and the lady held up her index finger as to signal us to wait longer. I became offended and told my husband to wait because I was going to the car. Finally a third lady appeared out of the general manager office and assisted us with the check out process. She was very courteous. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful.
