A wonderful weekend filled with...

Liked: The location for Mardis Gras festivities was perfect! The parking was free and conveniently located. Freshly brewed coffee available in the lobby. We had great access to plenty of restaurants and bars.
Disliked: No restaurant in the hotel. There were, however, grab and go items available for purchase. We ate breakfast at the Ruby Slipper across the street each morning and their food was very yummy!

Liked: Always neat and clean.
Disliked: Marcie! Front desk person was very rude! We heard Candlewood had overbooked, had a lot of unhappy people, a Facebook page was set up for unhappy Candlewood customers. Front desk was very rude when we checked in, we felt like we were suspect, Marcie mentioned tight security due to unhappy customers. Asked for my credit card I booked with, I canceled it earlier in the week, didn’t have it on me. I gave her another credit card for incidentals. I told her I paid through booking.com, she said “well we will see about that”, then looked disappointed we were being honest. We asked a simple question about parking, she was rude! She had her child in the lobby, I guess she couldn’t find a sitter.
