Liked: The staff was patient, professional and respectful. The reservation was changed to one room, which meant we didn't need them to be close together. Upon arrival November 8, 2024, around 11pm the card I used experienced a problem. The front desk person was kind enough to try it a few different times. She explained why it may not take at first. Then I realized that I needed to check the account. I stepped away to do so. Following that I returned to the desk asking if she could charge two nights on it instead of three and if the last night could be paid later. She said yes, and we proceeded.After she assigned the room I went to check it. It had an odor and I returned to the front desk. This time a man assisted me and I asked if our room could be switched, explaining why. He apologized, checked to see what was available and made the switch. I checked that room and it was fine.On November 9, 2024, we made the last payment and got a receipt for it.On November 10, 2024, it came to our attention that the payment made the day before wasn't applied in some manner. After three different employees knocked on the door I decided to contact the front desk to see what the issue was. The front desk person checked and said he couldn't find the payment for the last night. He requested that I come to the desk to see about this matter. Upon arriving there he said that they were able to check further after the call and found where the issue was. He apologized and explained that there was something that they failed to do. The matter was now cleared up. He replaced the room keys with working ones. I thanked him for checking and proceeded to the room.I also reported problems on November 10 and 11 with a running toilet and leaking, unused dish washer. Each time the front desk person was polite, submitted the work order and thanked me for doing so.The staff also supplied linen as requested.
Disliked: I didn't like that there was an odor in the first room. It would also be better if there were additional lights in the front of the building. I noticed two were attached to the building but they were out. It's possible that the repairman hadn't made it yet.Having a well lit area adds to the safety of the property.

Disliked: There was a bad odor coming off the elevator on the 3rd floor, along with the closet in our room. The layout of the room led you to see the light on the microwave along with the 2 outlets over the sink which had a bright green light. Made it hard to sleep on the bed closest to the door. We also found 3 bugs in our room, 2 of which were on the bathroom counter one morning.
