Convenient and comfortable stop over

Liked: Excellent stopover for the channel tunnel. Easy parking, comfy beds, basic but clean and comfortable
Disliked: Would have liked more choice of main dishes in for dinner; its such a pity when a white fish dish has a shellfish sauce; I have a severe shellfish allergy but I can eat white fish. Combining the two limits choice of you have an allergy.

Liked: The breakfast had a great selection and the food quality was good. Staff friendly.

Exceptional

Liked: Location ideal for our last leg to the UK from Portugal. The price and facilities were perfect. It was dog friendly and, unlike other french establishments we stayed at, was not ripped off (€5). The staff were fantastic and helpful. Food was also available. For the price it puts other, more expensive, places to shame! Well done. We will be back.
Disliked: Perfect.

Ideal for an overnight stay

Liked: Good location with private parking, comfortable room with good facilities

Pleasant

Liked: Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Location was good for 1 night as good for motor access.
Disliked: Once again restaurant was closed for evening dinner as it was a weekend (friday night). Restaurant did supply snack type food in the evening but this was expensive and of poor quality, all probably from freezer to microwave oven to plate (pizzas etc). Room in desperate need of updating. Would not go back.

Very good value

Liked: Very well situated. The property is “well worn” but very clean with everything we needed. The food was very tasty and good value for money. The staff were very clean , efficient band friendly.
Disliked: It could do with some refurbishment
