Very clean and tidy room...

Liked: Clean, comfortable and staff were friendly
Disliked: Would have preferred bigger towels and a bath mat as standard

Lack of attention to maintenance...

Liked: Location
Disliked: Poor maintenance. The chair in my room was rickety and the toilet seat had clearly seen better days. Lots of marks which appeared to be dirt at first. Turned out to be long term ingrained marks, which simply cannot be wiped off and needs to be changed. Hard water marks crystallised in the toilet bowl and shower floor

Smell of cigarette smoke in...

Liked: Facilities were clean. Reception staff were extremely friendly.
Disliked: The very strong smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor was unacceptable. It was the first time I have encountered this in any hotel for many years. I mentioned it to reception staff who said they would ask Housekeeping to investigate.

Lovely place to stay, but...

Liked: Easy to find, good amenities nearby, large car park, nice lobby bar and eating area, room comfortable and clean.
Disliked: Very noisy and early rising workmen/contractors staying here and knocking on each others doors along my corridor/waking them up 4.30am/5am onwards - then chatting in the corridors - New guests should be aware of this on arrival and offered a quieter corridor/floor.
