Comedy kettle incident!

Liked: It served a purpose as it was in the desired location for a transport pick-up the following morning.
Disliked: The room cleaning staff had failed to notice the remains of a poached egg in the kettle. Took it to reception and requested a replacement be brought to the room. After waiting 45 mins, I went to reception where the same person, who had done nothing about it thus far, decided to clean the eggy kettle herself. Returned it almost clean, with a strong smell of cleaning fluid! I accepted it, filled it to boil off the smell, and it blew the ciruit! Finally, I got a very helpful maitenance guy to swap it with the one next door, which is what I wanted in the first place!

Clean, convenient and good value for money.

Liked: A good, convenient budget hotel. I was greeted by friendly staff who instantly asked if I had booked 1st class. I wasn't sure and when they checked they looked sad and said I hadn't, they directed me to the more tired looking block on the other side of the car park! All that aside, the room was good and had excellent facilities including tea and coffee facilities. Parking is right outside your own front door.
Disliked: This was a good room for the money. The exterior was tired but for the price it was excellent and better than I expected when I saw the block.
