Cheap but alright for sleeping

Liked: Affordable. Convenient location. Comfortable, clean bed.

Liked: *Good size room*Bed was basic, but comfortable enough. *Duvet would be fine for summer!*good size bathroom.
Disliked: *The room a good size, but had an unpleasant smell. *'Brown' splash marks on outside of toilet pan.*Heating not working.Otherwise. Ok

Campanile Hotel has great potential,...

Liked: Room was comfortable and clean. Location was convenient and pretty. Some staff were helpful. No noise. WiFi was good.
Disliked: Check in receptionist not very helpful or welcoming. I was expected to carry my heavy suitcase up to the 2nd floor! Receptionist finally said that if I waited until 3pm the male receptionist could bring my suitcase upstairs. Male receptionists seemed much more helpful. Restaurant was a complete missed opportunity. Could have had a good atmosphere, but unsurprisingly it was almost empty.I ordered a waffle and cup of tea. The poor receptionist had to leave the reception and go to the kitchen to make my waffle?! Which tasted microwaved and disappointing,also overpriced. Not the receptionist’s fault I’m sure. Could have been a lovely restaurant if they had a chef or proper kitchen staff. In general, I felt like a number rather than a guest.
