Liked: The room was small but perfectly adequate for a three day stay. The overall price was reasonable.
Disliked: The location at the side of a motorway was terrible. It was a 25 minute walk into the main city centre.The staff were extremely unhelpful. The bar would not provide us with two wine glasses and ice for your room. I have never encountered this before. The reception area were so unwelcoming and unaccommodating. We asked could we check in early and the receptionist just laughed and said no. They had a sign up to say they don't provide room cleaning unless notified before 10am. We had to go out to the cleaner and take some clean towels. I am honestly not overly fussy and I am aware this is a discount hotel. I just felt the staff were necessarily cold, unhelpful and unfriendly. A nice welcome costs nothing.

Liked: staff were friendly, hotel was modern and very clean. the room was very well maintained. plenty of room to park and only an extra £5.00 per 24hrs. the bar area was modern and not too expensive. really good value for money .
Disliked: there was nothing we didn't like.

Liked: Modern facilities, very clean and all staff were so helpful and welcoming! They made it a really lovely stay!
Disliked: The chef wasn’t available on the weekend for the full menu however the service we had from bar staff on the reduced menu was excellent so it’s not a complaint, just room for improvement as we still had a meal option available
