Liked: Location and the wonderful ground floor reception and dining room.
Disliked: I didn’t like some of the Art, however the smaller pieces were lovely❣️

Disliked: Food - Had the venison, very dry no sauce. Chocolate brownie dry and crumbled Breakfast - Missed off hash brown. Added tomato and mushroom when specified not wanted. Ran out of orange juice. Very small portions

A fab location for exploring...

Liked: The property looked and felt very grand and was in a fabulous location.
Disliked: The en-suite was a ‘pod’ like an aeroplane loo built into the corner of the room. It was tiny, very slippery & not in keeping with the lovely rooms & building itself. The bed wasn’t greatly comfortable, too soft and the mattress edges weren’t supportive.

Liked: Fantastic location, very good hotel , excellent staff , just a great shame about the caravan en suite in room 103
Disliked: The ensuite in room 103 made for caravan

Liked: Excellent location .we didn’t have a breakfast evening meals were good

Liked: The views of the hotel are amazing and the common areas of the hotel very pretty as well. Very nice staff too.
Disliked: The bathroom in the single bedroom was tiny and all plastic. For a room at £80, that seems a bit overpriced. The rooms are not well isolated either.
