Disliked: Room was far too warm and beside the lift so you could hear it all night.

Liked: Hotel was in a great location, our rooms were really modern, spacious & clean. Beds were very comfortable & overall the hotel had a really nice atmosphere.Despite our room being next to the lifts we generally weren’t disturbed by any noise. We also made use of the luggage storage the day we were leaving which was great. We would recommend/return in the future.
Disliked: We experienced an extremely strong smell of what individuals had been smoking both in the lift & upon exit to our floor & as our room was next to the lift, subsequently the strong smell was in our room when we returned at night. We had to open windows in our room to try to get rid of the smell - which would only open approx 3-4cm.Mentioned to the hotel reception the next morning but the reception staff member was not phased at all.

Liked: Lovely hotel, with excellent facilities. We particularly enjoyed the pool and spa. The room was clean and comfortable. I found the pillows too soft and the bed a little too hard, but that’s just a personal preference. The bathroom was perfect with fluffy towels, a lovely shower and toiletries. As this trip was for a birthday celebration, I had requested a bottle of Prosecco be put in the room, which was provided, along with a surprise birthday card and chocolates… thank you so much for that! Staff on reception were warm, friendly and welcoming but we found the female senior member of staff at the breakfast area to be quite offhand and abrupt. The young waitress with the pigtails was lovely (sorry we didn’t get her name). Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice, including hot options, continental and pastries etc.

Liked: Location was great - 2 minute walk to Harcourt Luas stop. Didnt eat in hotel but lovely sandwich shop right across the road - Doughboys. Lovely room & hotel.
Disliked: Nothing
