The festival was great, but will definitely book another hotel next year.

Liked: The spa.
Disliked: Communication with the front desk was non existent; told there are no additional pillows , because the hotel was full. Our room was only serviced once over the weekend. Very poor service.

Great Spa but lacking this...

Liked: The breakfast is always lovely.Pool and jacuzzi were really nice and they've recently changed the decor of the walls and cleaned up the ceiling above the jacuzzi so dust no longer falls there.Lounge has really nice food and a pleasant atmosphere.
Disliked: When we first got there we went up to our room and there were no dressing gowns in the room. We've always had these on the previous 3 stays we have been there.I went down to reception and asked about them and was told there were never dressing gowns in the rooms we had. I definitely had dressing gowns before.If it was a changed policy just say so, don't try and gaslight me saying there weren't on our previous stays.I was then told I could rent them at the spa sign in counter, but when I checked I was told it was only for treatment customers. Again this is fine if it was made clear from the start. Found the lack of clarity and consistency disappointing and off putting.Drinking glasses were also missing from the room and lots of tv channels were missing from previous stays, I guess to cut costs in some places.

Good base for visiting family

Liked: Nice place that provided accommodation over Christmas.
Disliked: It’s was fine but expensive when there is a new Holiday Inn Express next door. Breakfast wasn’t the best. Has lots of coach tours staying so felt it was a bit of a stopping off hotel rather than comfort.

Liked: Clean, friendly staff, breakfast was good, pool and saunas v good.
Disliked: Our room was slightly larger but quirky as if we were in a disability room, very low sink, bed, space for a bedside table on both sides of the bed but only one in the room. No sink plug and very limited refreshments. No air con.

Liked: The suite was very clean, nicely decorated, very spacious, beds extremely comfy, bathrooms with jacuzzi was awesome, and found complementary snacks and drinks
Disliked: Toiletries were almost empty, and breakfast quite basic and limited.
