Great location, with nice breakfast...

Liked: Spacious suite was perfect for our group.
Disliked: The suite needs updated and more comfortable furniture added.

Nice and fair

Liked: A slightly dated place but with a lot of character. Large rooms, renovated showers. Charming central building and garden. Overall very nice.
Disliked: You can feel the age. There is some room for refreshment.

Sweet spot for Hearst Castle...

Liked: The property, restaurant, bar, pool and rooms were just delightful. No issues or complaints! It a great spot for family trips and they are pet friendly. I slept soundly both nights and could have stayed a few more days if time had allowed. The fireplaces are a great touch and kept the room nice and warm through the night.

CPL is an easy hotel...

Liked: The grounds are lush and great for exploring. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and heated pool. It was a rainy day, but added to the charm of the Cambria Pines Lodge.
