Nice clean hotel with friendly...

Liked: Good stay. Only issues were that the coffee setup in the lobby is lousy and they shut it down at 11:00 a.m. Also the gym has no free weights.

Liked: Very pleasant hotel in convenient location. Front desk staff were helpful and polite. But no one answered the front desk phone on a few occasions - I had to go down to the lobby to get a question answered. The Room was pretty and comfortable, but needs some attention.. Three of the electrical outlets were “iffy” and there were no USB ports by the beds. There were no drawers and only two shelves to unpack clothing- and the shelves had linen on them which I had to put on the base of the armoire under the hanging clothes to make room.Breakfast area is nice, but the fruit plate I ordered had spoiled melon and the avocado also was not in good shape. At $17.00, the food needn’t be fancy, but it should be fresh.Overall, for 329 a night on the weekend, one would expect a bit more.

Liked: Location is perfect! Walking distance to French Quarter and there are restaurants and a convenience store nearby. The rooms are decent and all of the maintenance staff we encountered were extremely nice.
Disliked: Upon check in we found a woman’s clothing in the corner of our room so that was a bit odd. Also, they charge you a $20/day hotel convenience fee that is supposed to come with all of these perks. One of them was free coffee in the morning but when I tried to get one “free” cup of coffee the server was too busy to help me and the bar had dirty plates from past guests all over it. She was in the weeds and complaining so never got that coffee. Also, the valet gave me the wrong keys after bringing my car up so we had to wait a long time with our bags to leave. I’m a single mom traveling with my son so paying $50 a day for valet service and an extra $20 a day for “perks” is not easy so I’d have liked those services to be better.

Overall the stay was okay...

Liked: Unaware of the incidental service charge that would be added upon arrival. Staff at the desk checking in and out super unfriendly. Ceiling in the room looked molded . Old stained sheets on beds upon arrival. I don’t recall seeing that you would be made to valet park either, but you do which wasn’t a problem. However individuals would like to know up front the charges that they will incur during their stay prior to. Bar staff and night front desk agent were very friendly and pleasant! Valet attendants were super nice and helpful as well
