Disliked: Pillows were not comfortable and I ended up using rolled up clothes instead. Also seemed like the bar closed early for a Saturday evening but thats not a huge deal.

It was a huge disappointment

Disliked: The pool and hot tub were down and the guy behind the counter couldn't tell me when it would be fixed, nor did he seem to care or apologize. I was really looking forward to swimming. Also, no breakfast was served and I cannot figure out why! My favorite part of trabelling is the hotel breakfasts for some reason. Very very disappointing. Also, when I got to my room, it looked like it hadn't been turned over properly. There was food in the fridge, a used coffee pod in the maker, a used hand lotion in the bathroom and no i.formation by the phone for instructions on how to hear your messages, hoe to order food service, nearby attractions, etc. There were no garbage bags in any of the cans either, which was weird, and no vending machine on our floor as stated on the signage. VERY disappointing. And when I asked the staff 2 or 3 times about the food in my fridge he said he would come get it, "if I wanted", like I was an imposition. And yet, he never followed through on that promise. Oh and some random guy in a hat and graphic t-shirt was knocking on our door in the morning claiming to be housekeeping but there was no cart with him or anything. He just had a piece of paper in his hands. I was freaked out and wouldn't open my door! There was also a very high pitched whining sound the entire night comi.g from the mechanical closet. It hurt my ear. And why isn't there a door on the 2nd bedroom with the king suite? And the water or something in the bathroom stunk to high heaven! The shampoo/conditioner/body soap were communal and used. No hand soap, and it was terrible lighting through the entire hotel room, I couldn't even pluck my eyebrows, and I refused to shower in the disgusting bathroom. The toilet paper wasn't even new.

If I would have known...

Liked: They have a very friendly staff. The room was very clean and modern.
Disliked: Unfortunately there was no free breakfast and the prices on their menu were not so budget friendly. The pool was closed for maintenance and did not know until the next morning. The plan was to go to the badgers game Friday night and just let the kids swim all day Saturday then return home Sunday. Ended up leaving Saturday morning instead. Had I known the pool was closed I would have only booked the room for Friday night. Ended up eating the cost of one night's stay because of the non refundable booking.
