Stephan, Elk Grove Village, visiting Nederlander Theatre Chicago Sat, 16 June 2018

Hotel is right next door to the Oriental and walking distance to others. It's clean and modern with comfortable beds for a reasonable price.

Liked: The rooms are modern, clean and offer comfortable beds.
Disliked: The parking valet is sub standard; slower than molasses on a cold day! During the busiest parts of the day they only had 1 valet which never showed any urgency to the amount of people waiting. Also, the restaurant closing soon after the theatre gets out makes getting a quick bite to eat impossible.

Great room for its purpose....

Liked: Early check- in was granted as requested at time of booking. Room was clean. Bed and pillows quite comfy. Nice, large bathroom. The street view was nice. And the location, in the heart of the Theater District, is central to most any attraction in Chicago. The staff was friendly and accommodating. As my stay was short, and I wasn't in the hotel much, I can't speak of the amenities. There is a dinner theater in this location's building, and I hope to check it out one day. Snacks, and beverages (including frozen treats & adult beverages) were available to purchase in the lobby. Wioul definitely stay here again for the same rate.
Disliked: While there was a coffee maker, microwave and mini-fridge in the room, their storage locations were on shelves that were practically on the ground. This, and dim lighting, made reading the functions on the microwave (the plastic facing was worn and peeling) nearly impossible without kneeling on the floor. The single cup style coffee brewer had to be placed onto the counter to reach an outlet and open its top, and it leaked. While the bathroom was quite large, the stand-up shower had only a half- wall (floor to ceiling) of glass which could be a tricky issue if sharing the room. The lighting in the whole room was soft yellow, and the bathroom was just as dim. While the view of the street was nice, the windows were not very soundproof. Light sleepers might bring ear plugs or try to request an inner room, higher up.

Fantastic location, but a little...

Liked: Location was excellent, everything was very efficient, it was stylish and mostly well-kept.
Disliked: The room was very sparse, with no real practical storage, and not enough bedside tables or lamps or other lighting options. The “games room” only had a table football table and a damaged pool table with untipped cues. The barman wasn’t friendly, which stood out in the context of everyone else in the US service industry.

Great place for visiting Chicago.

Liked: Great location near multiple train stations. Theatre district, miracle mile, millenium park, art museum all easily walkable. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Large room and bathroom for the middle of a big city.
Disliked: No safe in room, loud street noises but it is a big city.
