Nice but overnight parking fee...

Liked: Location and hotels overall atmosphere.
Disliked: the parking fee is not right, there is no reason to charge extra for an open parking lot with self parking in this location. to make it worse they will not place the 16.00 overnight additional fee on your room charge which makes it easier to expense, they make you register your car through an app by 9:00 pm and the app charges a 2.00 extra fee, not right to say fee is 16 and be charged 18. I think they need to rethink this fee and how it is collected. I'll park across the street next time if there is one...

Great location to stay to...

Liked: A modern and nice inner decoration, clean with friendly staff. Excellent location with easy access to visit the region. If location is the key to your trip look no further. Many eateries and supermarkets very close by and easy access to hiking routes in the Malibu Canyon! Although the parking was mentioned to be with extra fee, they gave us free parking throughout our stay!
Disliked: - Our room was facing the main road on the side of the gasoline station & the windows were not double filtered so some nights cars racing made a lot of noise but it was bearable as it was not an ongoing sound. - The breakfast was very poor with gluten-free options and on our 1st morning the server at the restaurant was so unfriendly with no comprehension of a young celiac boy’s needs, we ended up not having breakfast & never returned neither for breakfast nor for lunch or dinner for the rest of our stay :(- And last but not least, we attempted to change our room the first 3 days of our stay (we stayed 2 weeks) but the reception had no visibility on their reservations and kept on asking us to come later during the day which was ridiculous cause there was no way we could cut our daily program to run back to the hotel to verify if any other room was available and if we could change it or not! So we ended up keeping our room.
