Disliked: The worst mattress ever. Really how can you provide lodging with such a crap mattress. Private room paying big money.No heat for chilli mornings and evenings.Only one overhead light that shuts off automatically after 15 minutes. What about a cheap desk lamp $10 in Walmart.Staff non stop talking echoing throughout the hallway

Good for a short stay...

Liked: The location is pretty great, lots of stores and restaurants around and PB is just steps away! Lots of surfers there. Free yoga on the weekends if you walk 10 mins to the location.The açaí at the attached store was great, I definitely recommend it. You can also get cheap rental on bikes although they were older and no hand brakes so it was a bit scary at first. Friendly and helpful staff!
Disliked: Mainly the security around the back room/door area was a bit questionable since there is no fence and there are people walking around in the streets. The door does not fully close on its own, you’d have to make sure it closes and locks all the way. Since they also only have mixed dorms, that is something to take note of. Having curtains was a plus. Not too many common areas to lounge on-site. Not many social hostel activities either but that would’ve been cool to see more of! The bathroom sinks kind of smelled weird.
