Was staying at hotel and was informed about the fact that the hotel is no smoking, but there were no signs posted anywhere. I was threatened with police action against me if I did not pay a $250.00 fine that I was also unaware of.

Liked: They made our anniversary extra special. The greeting cards and chocolates were simple yet very thoughtful and much appreciated. The room was clean. As a person allergic to dust, I can tell right away when a room is dirty/ dusty. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We will be back again, that's for sure. Thank you and keep up the excellent work.
Disliked: We just hope the swimming pool is operational. We weren't able to swim as we were told it was under maintenance.

Good Place for an Overnight...

Liked: Was within walking distance to many sites and restaurants. On site food and drink options offered what we needed for our short stay. View out of our room onto the city skyline was beautiful at night. Spacious room with comfortable bed and seating options.
Disliked: Was easy to hear sounds from the hallway and neighbouring rooms - could even hear the sound of our neighbours opening and closing the drapes/blinds. Luckily, most guests on our floor were quiet, except for one returning group very early in the morning. The sliding bathroom door does not slide flush with the wall, leaving a large gap that provides very little privacy (sights and sounds). It also very easily slides out of place, and is not lockable from inside.
