Centrally Located, Great Cafe Across...

Liked: Central Location. Room was spacious. The Muddies Cafe was a sensational breakfast and a bonus that we could use our stay to get a 10% Discount.
Disliked: The AC was far to warm, we tried making it cooler, however it's as though it was pre-set. The ambient tempt outside was cooler, however there were no screens on the doors, so we couldn't sleep with the doors open.

Liked: For the price point, the location was great with a fantastic view of the ocean. The hotel is maybe 3-4 blocks from the edge of the main tourist area. It was a short walk for me (~10 mins) and worth saving over $150 a night. I did a few different tours while in Cairns and all the ones with pick-up picked me up from the hotel. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. I had problems with the onsite laundry, but the front desk attendant was very helpful and resolved my problem immediately.
Disliked: N/A - It was a great stay. The hotel has a street in front of it and is not directly on the water. I'm not sure any hotels in the area are on the water, but if you want a totally unobstructed view of the ocean, you may be disappointed.

Liked: Well located and priced.Great staff, attentive and welcoming.Very clean hotel and rooms. Also they have a breakfast discount deal on a Cafe in front of hotel which comes handy.
