Shabby Sheridan Mouldy Motel

Liked: Absolutely nothing, this was the worst experience my friends and I have ever had staying in a motel. We have sent an email to the motel for a full refund after only being checked in for 2 hours and were disgusted in the facilities.
Disliked: The motel was over booked, the staff had quit days before we arrived and was expressing the absolute distaste for her job because it was such a poor environment to work. We had specifically booked a balcony room to share with 4 people, we were on the bottom with a pool right out the front. Upon arrival we entered a room that looked to be an old office and this was our room. The air-conditioning did not work and in replacement of this they gave us a dusty, dirty office fan in replacement. When looking for the air-conditioning remote, I found a pillow case shoved in the utensils draw and it had blood on it. The pillow cases on the bed had mould on them, the air-conditioning unit had white mould inside it. My friends found mould on the cooking utensils, the floors were filthy and the walls were disgusting. This room was not up to any of our expectations and we paid nearly $500 over the Easter break to stay here for two nights and we ended up leaving in less than 2 hours after arrival. It was so putrid - I have sent a complaint email to the owner and am still waiting for a full refund even though I wanted it on the spot.I would not stay here.

Disliked: The common area leading to the room was dirty with hair , visible dust and tiny cockroaches roaming about. The store on the side of the motel had 4 druggie sitting at night when we were checking in - so seems that the area is shady. The sheets on the bed had some brown stuff below the pillow which looked like tobacco leaf while the room was non smoking. There was no sheets or comforter to use at night. The bed base / mattress was visibly worn out

Not worth it

Liked: The only redeeming feature of this property was the receptionist. She was lovely.
Disliked: The room stunk of wet hospital, the shower was riddled with mould throughout to the point we didn't let our kids shower in it. One of the air conditioners sounded like it was 40 years old.We also had the added feature of the next door room staying up until 5am yelling, hitting walls and carrying on. Needless to say we got zero sleep.Couldn't leave this property fast enough
