Liked: Great food in the pub, comfy bed, truly affordable. Breakfast was amazing!

Liked: Good size room, great for my dogs, breakfast was delicious!
Disliked: Room was above the bar area which was nosey til late! Usually I'd be joining those in the bar but early trips needed early nights but sleep was disturbed.

Liked: Bedroom was fine with comfortable bed and en-suite. Good bar and restaurant with tasty food at reasonable price.

Very pleasant stay, and I...

Liked: Great location and easy to find. Ideal for my purpose, and I imagine, also for guests there for many other types of pursuit in that general area. Dedicated car park, right behind the property. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very clean, tidy and tastefully decorated. Good ambience too. I took the opportunity to eat there, and the food / service was excellent.
Disliked: Nothing at all.

A perfect place to stay....

Liked: It feels very homely, friendly and popular with visitors and locals. The breakfasts are excellent. All local produce and perfectly prepared; from hearty porridge with local honey and fresh fruit to a full cooked breakfast with meat from local butcher. Much better than many other local hotels in the area. Evening meals in the bar are exceptional with a great range of beers. Rooms are very comfortable. Friendly and welcoming host with great staff.

Disliked: not a lot of- only a little bit chilly in room but it was a bitterly cold night
