I would recommend; good value for money.

Liked: Staff lovely; breakfast very enjoyable; room average - all that we needed but decor needs refreshing.
Disliked: The hotel just needs a freshen up.

Beautiful place with terrible entertainment...

Liked: The hotel is very beautiful and staff kind.
Disliked: The gym could have some free weights and playing Christmas music everywhere in November is a bit excessive. Also the night entertainment in the lobby was nightmarish.

Beautiful large hotel right by...

Liked: Facilities and Setting are great, staff super-helpful. Only 5 mins stroll to central of Harrogate. Lovely setting for large family reunion. Relaxed and luxurious common areas. Room was spacious and bathroom lovely. Thank you

A 1 night stay leaving...

Liked: The appearance of the hotel from the approaching road and the spacious surroundings.
Disliked: The room was disappointing, although clean and tidy, but enough teabags & milk supplied was only sufficient for three cups of tea, seemed to be unnecessarily frugal!The breakfast was wholesome and a good variety of foods available.The bar staff were unable to tune the TV in the bar when a major international sporting event was due to commence!

Nice staff but property all...

Liked: On the outside stunning …. Traditional and in such a good location for the royal hall and conference centreNice and warm lovely staff at breakfast especially Colin ? Big guy really polite and helpful
Disliked: Felt like a care home …. Very battered looking …. Room tired and outdated … generally made you feel miserable …. Tv only worked on a few stations ….. and wore of all I couldn’t see !!! Must have been 10 watt bulbs … really frustrating

Beautiful Hotel in good location

Liked: The location is brilliant, accessible to amenities in Harrogate.Beautiful hotel, so much character.Room was clean and comfy. Staff were really friendly. Breakfast was very good.
Disliked: The only issue I had was with the evening meal. I felt with my main meal the food wasn’t really of a good standard unlike the breakfast . With starter and dessert I had I felt the quantity of these was very poor. The terrine and roulade were wafer thin. It certainly wasn’t good value for money.
