Liked: Staff very helpful and welcoming.Room was clean and simple good location
Disliked: The only comment was they need bigger mugs for the inform drinks

Liked: Loved the location, staff and the breakfast.
Disliked: I felt my room was a bit tiny, especially the bathroom. I didn't like radio being on by default, didn't understand why one was needed. The walls in the room I stayed in was a bit thin, so I could hear the guy in the next room snoring away lol! All in all it was a good stay.

1 night in jesmond

Liked: Absolutely beautiful hotel, Bar and restaurant. Breakfast was beautiful and staff friendly and helpful. Great onside parking and fabulous surrounding bars etc.Great spacious bathroom and comfy bed. We were here to go to a gig at the wylam brewery, again a beautiful venue.

Disliked: The security in the rooms opposite was non existent, the door to the floor which was meant to have key card lock didn’t work and people just came in and out as they pleased.

Not as presented on Booking

Liked: Nice location, conveniently close to the metro stop in West Jesmond and in front of a Waitrose store.
Disliked: The place was nothing like it's depicted on Booking. When we arrived, the staff at the reception told us that our room was located in another build that is part of the hotel. The other building was located around a hundred meters away on the other side of the street from the main building, which is somewhat impractical if one wants to have a quick breakfast (which is served in the main building) and return to the room before going out. This secondary building did not have an elevator, which is always a hassle for people travelling with large luggage. The room was decent but the hair dryer was broken, the bathroom fan was broken, one of the bed lamps was broken and the other was missing altogether. There wasn't even a toilet brush! On top of that the room was incredibly warm with no way to adjust the temperature or any AC setting, and the mini fridge was barely working - most of our staff was just slightly below room temperature rather being cold. For some reason we also had the smoke alarm going off for a few second with no apparent reason (no smoking, no steam from the shower, nothing strange at all). The walls were also incredibly thin to the point that we could hear people from other rooms snoring like if they were sleeping with us.
