The on-site Herbert Restaurant awarded 2 AA Rosettes enjoys views of the gardens and offers an extensive menu with all produce locally sourced. Herbert's Restaurant is closed every Monday & Tuesday food service is available in the Cellar Bar daily. The approach to Cahernane House Hotel is through a tunnel of greenery which frames the long private avenue and instills a slower sweeter tempo and a true sense of tranquility.

A real treat

Liked: Amazing room, old school but beautifully done. Good food. Breathtaking views. Great staff. Loved it so much we got a voucher for parents to stay there. Will absolutely stay again.
Disliked: For such a highly rated place where so much attention is put into making sure the guests have an amazing experience, the breakfast coffee was surprisingly bad.

Lovely hotel, great character

Liked: The building is old, but fabulous. The food was amazing
Disliked: Lots of steps n stairs, would not be suitable for those with poor mobility or wheelchair users, does have an elevator but unfortunately you have to climb a few steps to get to it.
