Very good

Liked: We requested the room to be cleaned. Either the person at the concierge did not relay the message, or the cleaners did not simply clean. We had to request it a second time the next day before cleaning the room. They apologized for the error. There was no hot water on the day of our exit. The channels on the TV had sound in some but not in others. We called and waited for hours before it was rectified.
Disliked: See the previous response.

Unable to contact the front...

Liked: The location was close to French quarter and to the convention center where my conference was.
Disliked: There was no iron provided, I called the operator who would transfer me to the front desk and the house keeping , no one answered after calling multiple times , eventually someone answered and said they will send an iron but didn’t tell me when , I was waiting in the morning and got late to my conference until finally I got an iron after 45 minutes from calling. There was also a ticking sound from theAC/heat system that disrupted my sleep; I spoke with the front desk on my out in the morning and to the manager his name is Jared, I came in the afternoon and found no one did anything to fix it , I found out later that they didn’t even submit a request to fix it. I finally got in contact with someone via message and told them the issue , after I called many times in the afternoon with no answer, someone reached to me and they finally sent someone to fix the issue. I never been in a hotel where I was not able to speak to the front desk, not even in third world countries.

DO NOT BOOK UNTIL THEY...

Liked: Nice location (new tower)
Disliked: They have two towers and they send you to the old tower. The old tower looks nothing like these pictures (Harrahs hotel which is now owned by Cesar’s). The staff are sooo rude and ghetto. The staff at the new tower (which matches the pictures) were helpful. Please update the booking listing to differentiate between the old tower and new tower rooms. The bathroom at old tower in lobby has peeling paint and is dusty…how is it they can charge almost $300 and not paint and refurbish the place? The old tower should be shut down.
