Very enjoyable holiday, great location...

Not a beautiful experience
Liked: The resort is looking very tired And uncared for.Such a shame I really noticed a massive Deterioration in the resort this stay

Disliked: Lack of information when we had no water in the room for 2 hours. Showering for a tour was impossible.

Very Disappointing
Liked: Great location opposite cable beach and the perfect place to enjoy Broome’s sunsets. Comfortable bed, good water pressure.
Disliked: We stayed out of season, but still paid top dollar. Half of the place was closed for maintenance, the rest looked ok except for the gardens which were not well kept and the ponds looked more like mosquito swamps. The nice restaurant was closed so the only option for dinner was the sunset grill - nice, but limited. Breakfast was a buffet - no other option for anything simpler or smaller. We were able to buy just a cup of coffee and one of the kind staff allowed me to take one small pastry to go with it. Given the low occupancy of the hotel (35%) you would think that breakfast option to order would be a better way to go. The only option for lunch was the poolside bar - ok food there. We booked a poolside room and got given one of only two poolside rooms that did not look out onto the pool - I just do t understand why given the low occupancy and given many of the rooms with a full view were empty. We asked for a late check out and were told it would be free until noon but anything later would come with charge of half the room rate. Our pick up was not until 4pm and it was so very hot and humid that we agreed to this. I then got a call back to say we could not check out at 4pm as agreed but 3pm instead - still at the half room rate charge. We met our friends at 4pm in the lobby and were so what annoyed to learn they were not charged anything to keep their room until 4pm! The whole place seemed very understaff and it was just not a very good experience all up. We will not be staying there again.

Liked: We liked the gardens around the resort. We liked the room.
Disliked: Staff were particularly friendly, as if some of them did not want to be there.Most of the restaurants were closed I understand that it was not 'the season' . The restaurants that were open , two of them had very basic menus , which meant that we had to eat out at other venues away from the resort.
