Hotel, valet and pricing was great! I will definitely come back and refer my friends. Great location to enjoy downtown Houston without having to drive back home.
Liked: Great service!

The hotel is comfortable and well situated. There was a backlog of guests and check in and out, and also for valet, but they were handled fairly quickly and efficiently. The menu at the hotel restaurant was limited and uninspiring; so eat elsewhere. It was an easy walk to the Bayou Music Center and for that reason I would stay there again.
Liked: Comfort and location.
Disliked: Restaurant.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Doubletree in Houston and I have thoroughly enjoyed it both times. This time I was given a room on the 20th floor and had a fantastic view of downtown Houston. Great stay!
Liked: Comfortable beds/rooms and nice staff.
Disliked: Needed some renovation work.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. We went to a concert at Eleanor Tinsley Park so this location was perfect for us, just a short walk away from the park. I had a quick and easy check in and they welcomed me with a yummy complimentary cookie. There was a small store in the Hotel which ended up being very useful. There was not a swimming pool which was a bummer after a long day at the festival but not a deal breaker for the convenience of the location. We did not eat at the restaurant but we did order burgers from room service at 11pm and really enjoyed them. My only real complaint was that there was no where to park at the hotel you have to use the valet parking that they offer at the Double Tree. I was ok with this until I received my bill for parking. $15 Friday, $15 Saturday $25 Sunday. $25 for Sunday night parking is a little more than I was expecting but o well what can you do? Overall we had a good stay and if there is another event we attend in downtown Houston we will most likely be staying in this hotel again.
Liked: Great location and clean rooms/ Hotel
Disliked: Valet parking was really expensive
